He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Richard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Richard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Richard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
