In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Faran alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Soveliss was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Soveliss grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Soveliss. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Veit was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down
