Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull brown iron scale mail. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nirgel is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nirgel grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.
