He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Tricking took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gûnd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is content; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
