His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 40. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He was born in the east. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
