History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Beast reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
