History: Anverth hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
