Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He keeps his rusty crest in a pixie cut. His gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Direcris was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.
