History: Burto lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.
