His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barrister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
