Description: He wears a grey shirt, with a black mid length shorts with black tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. He carries with him a set of pickaxes, each one with a amber on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is long and brown with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nicholas studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Nicholas took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'10". He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. He wears a colorful flower in his black fur. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Cloud speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Cloud was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He is portly but not overly obese. He has black fur. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He takes great joy in being the best Herbalist in town.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Herbalist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Ruler again; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is dressed in a clean black cloak covering his clean studded leather. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. This amber eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 33. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things
