Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears just a brown suit. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy dark red stubble. He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a greataxe, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. He has a hunchback. He wears his dark red hair down. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines silver.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stableman. He struck the Stableman job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and further expansion of business

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Oskar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oskar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a red coat. His bronze crest is matted, messy, and big. His red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
