History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
