History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shamash grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Born to a Stableman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
