However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Gilbert is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gilbert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
