Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair is short and blonde. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Brottor fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He takes great joy in being the best Ruler in town.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This late middle aged man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems and is in decent physical shape. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His gold eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Merihim was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
