History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bowyer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Courier, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
