History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Veit learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
