Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gennal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Gennal and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.
