Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. A true patriot, Shifting would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and wants his loneliness to end

Description: This southern man wears a white top hat and white clothes. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is red and curly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Oppleby's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has wavy auburn hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rimple grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rimple. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
