He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 100. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Flak grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Guard but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He has achieved small success as a Guard.
