History: Born to a Hunter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Gnome, and stands approximately 3'8". He wears a black cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings, and his gloved hand is found clutching a whip. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his ceremonial dagger. His fur, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Flame was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His bronze crest is thinning but still full. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mayor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and money/treasure
