Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is renowned for his bright red suits and hats. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Broce embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Broce was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Broce's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: An older man who is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, he is not a threatening figure. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in a small island village. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a miller and was forced into it by his family

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To be a Cartwright again; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he dresses like a well dressed Tanner does. His hair is red and very short. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. Kildrak abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
