Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Stannor hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he is greedy

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a brown vest and prefers tan and yellow shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Altho wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Altho grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He accessorizes with a green scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Fortune-teller. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and sabotage a competitor
