History: Nim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a Ruler soon after.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His childhood dream was to be a Fletcher, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Fletcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: The child of a Crown-heir, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
