History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Hagren and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mayor.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
