History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Oppleby alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Oppleby was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 71. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has taken up work as a Soapmaker and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to get a good night's sleep
