Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears skinny pants and wears a blue and yellow robe with the hood down. He keeps his auburn hair in a flapper bob. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hobart does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light green in addition to tight pants, and he perpetually has his pickaxe ready. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. A true patriot, Nirgel would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his son

Description: This malnourished man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. With bright red hair and a scraggly beard. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Namfoodle embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: He was born in the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Animal Trainer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Namfoodle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. This brown eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When Oblar reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he feels threatened by others
