History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Thorin and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
