Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
