History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents enrolled him in a Commoner school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult; and he has money and likes to spend it
