History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Akmen was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: Born to a Shipwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Frederick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Frederick's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
