Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anverth grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortbow.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Reirak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
