His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Qualen is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
