The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. After months of barely getting by, Nirgel managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
