History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Salasar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
