History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Oskar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Oskar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Fonkin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
