Description: This tall, slender man wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a pickaxe on his belt. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a brown costume with the symbols of strength on his torso. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Bernard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Mortician business.

History: Born in the west to a Mortician, Bernard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Mortician. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Darrow fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears violet trousers with tan and blue striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His ears are large.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Burgell was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
