Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
