He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a Banker, his father struggled to pay the bills. Veit abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now mingles about in high society.
