Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a Layabout, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his father's many stories. After coming to the age of reason, Bernard took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age his mother died while driving off some drow. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sword use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
