Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Ernest enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: A middle-aged man, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are black.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Pelaios is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. A friendly and beautiful Half-Orc, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against dire rats
