History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Rangrim and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
