Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Burto was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Burto's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His childhood dream was to be a Carpenter, but he was a colossal failure. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the south to a Locksmith, Pandjed learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Locksmith. He became a Locksmith soon after.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He has all his life been fascinated with dancing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and money/treasure
