History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Barendd was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He tends to his Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and revenge
