Personality: Pikar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He wears his blonde hair down. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and halfling compassion

Voice: Speaks through clenched teeth

Description: This slender man stands about 3'8". He prefers to wear flannel. His golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Interpreter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
