History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
