History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Baern embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Baern was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Rimple lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
