One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Kaladan was taken on many hunting expeditions. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After months of barely getting by, Kaladan managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
