History: Emerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He struck the Scribe job and began his own company from there.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His skin is flawless and his red eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
